About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Practice under the direction of the Pharmacist-In-Charge in accordance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations
  • Resolve pharmacy service-related complaints and concerns in accordance with company policy
  • Answer customer and doctor phone calls
  • Perform initial and final evaluation of prescriptions
  • Support an atmosphere of effective teamwork
  • Monitor the perpetual inventory of Schedule II controlled substances for accuracy
  • Attend pertinent meetings when necessary
  • Assist in training and developing other pharmacy personnel
  • Follow and aid in enforcement of company policies and procedures
  • Keep abreast of developments in the professional field
  • Respect and maintain HIPAA confidentiality guidelines
  • Answer drug information questions as requested

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A valid Pharmacist License, in good standing (RPh)
  • Ability to become licensed in multiple states as required
  • Two years minimum of pharmacy experience
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of laws pertaining to storage, recordkeeping, and dispensing of drugs
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively, patiently, and courteously
  • Ability to handle multiple activities or interruptions at once
  • Focused team player, who can work in conjunction with pharmacists, other departments, customers, and management
  • Work independently with little supervision and meet daily deadlines
  • Ability to perform repetitious work accurately
  • Must reside in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee or Colorado
