Key responsibilities & impact

Provide 1:1 therapy for children, adolescents, and adults
Conduct 5-7 client appointments of 53+ minutes per day
Complete thorough assessments for individuals recently discharged from emergency room settings
Determine next steps for ongoing care
Treat and manage Mental Health Diversion court-mandated clients
Deliver evidence-based mental health care
Create and manage treatment plans and clinical documentation
Participate in weekly supervision and team consultations
Attend two units of supervision and internal meetings as needed
Collaborate with psychiatry providers and broader care teams
Maintain timely and compliant documentation in the EHR
Complete follow-up appointment documentation within 24 hours
Complete initial appointment documentation within 48 hours

What you’ll need

Must be able to work in California
Active Associate license in California (AMFT, APCC, or ACSW)
Master’s degree in Social Work, MFT, or Counseling
Social Work degree must be CSWE-accredited
Experience with CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care
EMDR or a clinical niche preferred
Ability to work with emotionally intense sessions
Access to a quiet, confidential workspace with stable internet
Experience with higher levels of care, such as psychiatric hospital care, community-based services, prison settings, IOP, SUD facilities, or partial hospitalization programs
Ability to work a structured Monday-Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Ability to manage a full caseload of up to 32-33 weekly clients
Passion for serving diverse populations, including BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and neurodivergent clients
