About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct telehealth evaluations, assessments, and medication management sessions for clients located in CA
  • Collaborate with therapists and the supervising psychiatrist to provide integrated care
  • Monitor patient outcomes and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings
  • Maintain up-to-date, accurate documentation in the EMR
  • Provide psychoeducation to patients and families
  • Stay current with psychiatric care practices, telehealth trends, and CME requirements
  • Manage a consistent, structured weekly schedule from Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm Pacific Time, or an alternative Monday-Thursday schedule

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Active NP license in CA
  • PMHNP certification in good standing
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
  • Comfort with a high client load on busy days
  • Comfort with a salaried, non-per-session pay structure
  • Reliability and personal responsibility
  • Ability to manage time, caseload, and clinical notes without constant oversight
  • Strong clinical judgment and understanding of psychiatric medications
  • Strong telehealth skills
  • Comfort with EMRs and virtual platforms
  • Clear, compassionate communication with patients and team members
  • Ability to work independently while staying connected to a collaborative care team
  • Commitment to delivering equitable, effective care to diverse communities
  • Must be licensed in CA and reside in CA, NM, NV, FL, or TX
