About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support Deposit Products functions within Wells Fargo’s Consumer Banking & Lending organization
  • Deliver analytical insights and support for deposit products and programs
  • Perform data mining and in-depth analysis
  • Develop customized reports and ad-hoc analyses
  • Design and run data processes
  • Collaborate with experienced consultants and partners in technology and other business groups
  • Make recommendations and provide guidance to the product management team
  • Ensure adherence to data management and data governance regulations and policies
  • Identify and define business requirements
  • Translate data and business needs into research, recommendations, insights, and analytical solutions
  • Participate in company initiatives and processes supporting risk and strategic goals
  • Apply compliance and risk management requirements for the supported area

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience performing complex data analysis, research, and trend identification
  • Strong understanding of data governance, risk management, compliance, and regulatory requirements within a regulated financial services environment
  • Ability to collaborate across business and technology teams within a matrixed environment
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience within the financial services industry, including knowledge of deposit products, customer behavior, account level economics, or related banking business segments
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Demonstrated proficiency with SQL and Tableau or similar business intelligence tools
  • Experience querying large data sets and developing dashboards, visualizations, reports, and analytical solutions
  • Ability to travel up to 5%
  • Ability to adhere to written policy and applicable State and Federal regulations
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
  • Willingness to work on-site at the stated location
