About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide personalized banking support across multiple branch locations within an assigned geographic area
- Cover banker and teller absences and temporarily fill open positions as needed
- Adapt to new branch environments, teams, and customer needs
- Build customer relationships through proactive conversations and outreach
- Conduct discovery-driven conversations to understand customer needs
- Connect customers with relevant banking products, services, and solutions
- Drive branch growth by identifying opportunities, promoting solutions, and making referrals
- Support account openings, service requests, and credit applications
- Perform cash handling and teller line activities
- Process transactions accurately while maintaining compliance and operational standards
- Use digital tools and technologies to enhance customer experience
- Deliver accurate, compliant service within defined risk controls
- Coordinate handoffs to licensed bankers and other specialists
- Support branch operations by flexing between cash handling and customer banking activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6+ months of interacting with customers experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
- Bilingual speaking and listening proficiency in Spanish/English
- Prior experience in financial services or a highly regulated customer-facing role desired
- Experience building trust-based customer relationships desired
- Comfort initiating outreach through calls, emails, or other channels desired
- Comfort with digital tools and technology desired
- Ability to identify customer needs and connect them to appropriate solutions desired
- Ability to collaborate with teammates and partners desired
- Ability to follow policies and regulations and escalate risk concerns desired
- Ability to travel 100% of the time within assigned geography
- Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays
- Must take and pass required language assessment
- SAFE registration required at the time of employment; Wells Fargo initiates the process after start date
- Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo policies
- Subject to credit report review and additional ongoing screening
- Position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
