About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the branch sales leader, acquiring, deepening, and retaining customer relationships
- Drive growth in primary checking, deposits, lending, credit cards, and investments
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing branch team
- Build an engaged, accountable culture focused on identifying customer financial needs
- Manage performance through observation, feedback, follow-up, and targeted coaching
- Lead the team in delivering tailored consumer and business solutions
- Partner with Wealth & Investment Management, Business Banking, and Home Lending teams
- Educate customers about digital banking options
- Analyze reporting and employee observations to improve team performance and expand relationships and wallet share
- Balance growth objectives with operational risk management
- Resolve issues, manage talent decisions, and model behaviors that protect customers, employees, and the company
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
- 2+ years of leadership experience
- Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays
- Ability to travel in assigned geography up to 50% of the time during the first 6 months and prior to or until placement in a specific branch, depending on location
- SAFE registration required at the time of employment
- Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements
- Must comply with Wells Fargo policies related to financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background
- Subject to credit report review and additional ongoing screening
- Position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
- Successful completion of the Branch Manager Readiness Program required to transition into a Branch Manager position
