About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the branch sales leader, acquiring, deepening, and retaining customer relationships
  • Drive growth in checking, deposits, lending, credit cards, and investments
  • Lead, coach, and develop a branch team to improve banker productivity
  • Foster an engaged, accountable culture focused on identifying customer financial needs
  • Balance growth objectives with operational risk management
  • Complete the Branch Manager Readiness Program before transitioning into a Branch Manager position, unless currently serving as a Wells Fargo Branch Manager
  • Build and retain a high-performing team through expectations, performance management, and targeted coaching
  • Deliver tailored consumer and business banking solutions
  • Use observation, feedback, reporting, and follow-up to improve capability and performance
  • Partner with Wealth & Investment Management, Business Banking, and Home Lending teams
  • Educate customers about digital banking options
  • Manage risk, resolve issues, and model behaviors that protect customers, employees, and the company

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • 2+ years of leadership experience
  • Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays
  • Ability to travel in assigned geography up to 50% of the time during the first 6 months and prior to or up until placement in a specific branch
  • SAFE registration required at the time of employment
  • Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements
  • Must comply with Wells Fargo policies related to financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background
  • A credit report may be reviewed and additional ongoing screening may apply
  • Not eligible for Visa sponsorship
