About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead a team of Client Associates in transactional tasks and processes
  • Ensure timely completion, quality, and compliance of team processes
  • Increase digital onboarding and money-movement adoption
  • Reduce operational support issues and documentation errors
  • Lead market readiness and strategic rollout support for new digital tools
  • Identify process improvement and risk control opportunities
  • Make supervisory decisions and resolve team supervision, work allocation, and daily operations issues
  • Interpret policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate with the Market Support Manager, peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers
  • Interact directly with external customers
  • Mentor associates and guide talent development
  • Assist in hiring talent
  • Serve as initial contact for operational, service, and technology inquiries
  • Liaise between Market Leaders, Branch/Area Managers, Brokerage Support, and Client Associates
  • Execute approval processes, including asset movements, document approvals, and remediation initiatives
  • Onboard, train, recognize, engage, and develop Client Associates
  • Ensure Client Associates are trained in Client Relationship Group ease-of-doing-business initiatives
  • Visit branches across the Market to oversee operational/support practices and coach on operational risk

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4+ years of Securities industry experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • 1+ years of leadership experience
  • Successfully completed FINRA Series 7 and 63 or 7 and 66 examinations, or FINRA recognized equivalents, sufficient to qualify for immediate FINRA registration
  • Appropriate FINRA license(s) required for ongoing employment
  • FINRA Series 65 or 66 examinations or equivalent must be completed within 90 days if not immediately available to transfer upon hire
  • Compliance with state law registration and licensing requirements
  • Additional requirements include enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards
  • Successful completion of FINRA background screening and background check prior to hire
  • Must meet ongoing regulatory obligations, including periodic screening and mandatory reporting
  • This position is subject to FINRA background screening requirements
  • 1+ year of leadership experience including managing, coaching, and training
  • Knowledge and understanding of the brokerage industry, products, and operational procedures
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Understanding of brokerage branch exams and regulatory requirements from an operational support perspective
  • Client service-centric approach for internal and external customers
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, stay organized, and manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment
  • Series 9/10 licensing desired
  • FINRA supervisory license desired
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
