About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the Data Use function within the Enterprise Data Governance team
Oversee data governance and risk management programs supporting trusted, well-governed enterprise data
Provide strategic direction, prioritization, and execution oversight for fit-for-purpose evaluations, model input control assurance, and permissible data use governance
Build partnerships across business, technology, and data domains
Drive operating rigor, strengthen risk management practices, improve data transparency, and deliver automation and process optimization at scale
Develop team capabilities and influence enterprise stakeholders
Ensure execution of data management priorities supporting regulatory, risk, and business objectives
Provide strategic leadership for Data Use initiatives and resolve complex cross-functional challenges
Foster adoption of Data Management requirements across the enterprise
Ensure organizational design and resourcing support CDO priorities
Champion accountability and transparency
Oversee resource and budget management
Provide data-driven insights on risks and strategies to senior leadership
Manage a global team with resources in the United States and India

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of Data Management, Business Research, Analytics, or Project Management or leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
4+ years of management or leadership experience
Strong understanding of data management risks and principles
Proven ability to lead large teams and drive transformation initiatives
Skilled in building global relationships, influencing across leadership levels, and mentoring future leaders
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Effective in matrixed environments with competing priorities
Delivers high-quality outcomes, takes ownership of results, and consistently meets deadlines under pressure
Synthesizes data to inform decisions and balances innovation with practical execution
Experience managing managers and building large high-performing teams, including global teams in India
