Key responsibilities & impact

Lead complex technology initiatives, including companywide initiatives with broad impact
Develop standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large-scale technology solutions
Design, build, test, deploy, and document business solutions using modern software engineering automation tools
Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions against strategic technical and business objectives
Provide influence, thought leadership, and mentorship on team best practices and standards
Collaborate with technical experts, senior technology teams, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
Partner with and support teams across Wells Fargo, including senior leadership
Advise, design, build, and maintain cloud solutions focused on availability, scalability, performance, and cost
Support modernization of CCIBT applications and systems to the cloud using generative AI SDLC and software engineering practices
Invest in the growth of colleagues

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent, demonstrated through one or a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education
5+ years leveraging modern software engineering stacks including modern Java, Python and others
3+ years of experience developing and deploying applications and infrastructure in the cloud, including Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud
1+ years of past experience with AI SDLC and software engineering automation tools such as GitHub Copilot, Devin, Cursor, or Claude Code
3+ years of experience with architectural, system, and code-level design patterns relevant to cloud solutions
Experience working with cloud security management or governance tools
Ability to influence, partner, and negotiate with senior business leaders
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to articulate technical solutions to technical and business audiences
Strategic view on project outcomes and opportunities to add value to the greater Wells Fargo organization
Delivery focus and willingness to work in a fast-paced, enterprise environment
