About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Consult, review, and research moderate to complex business, operational, and technical challenges
  • Evaluate data pipelines, data quality, and business stakeholder requirements
  • Perform data analysis to support business stakeholders and strategic marketing initiatives
  • Extract data-driven insights and identify engineering enhancement opportunities
  • Lead technical discussions and participate in cross-functional teams and projects
  • Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Develop controls and checks for data anomalies to ensure data product quality
  • Adhere to compliance and risk management requirements
  • Work with BigQuery in GCP and set up scheduling and automation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • SQL, Python, and BigQuery skills
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform / BigQuery, Python, SAS, Tableau, Alteryx, and Power BI
  • Data engineering experience
  • Experience evaluating and improving data pipelines, identifying data quality issues, and implementing fixes
  • Strong data quality management skills, including building controls, validation checks, and monitoring for anomalies
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical data solutions and analytical outputs
  • Experience with large, complex datasets supporting business decision-making and marketing strategy
  • Ability to identify and drive data engineering enhancements or process improvements
  • Experience leading or facilitating technical discussions across cross-functional teams
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Knowledge of compliance and risk management in a regulated environment
  • Ability to document data processes, lineage, and business logic for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated ownership of end-to-end data or analytics initiatives
  • Must reside within a commutable distance from work
  • Not eligible for visa sponsorship
