About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own end-to-end Business Banking strategic initiatives, managing milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables
  • Lead cross-functional alignment across Business Banking, Product, Marketing, Analytics, Technology, HR, Controls, and other partners
  • Develop, prioritize, plan, and execute strategic initiatives from concept through implementation
  • Define, track, monitor, and assess success metrics, refining strategies based on performance and stakeholder feedback
  • Conduct fact-finding and data-based assessments to solve complex issues and develop recommendations
  • Make decisions in complex situations, facilitate decision-making and issue resolution, and support implementation of solutions
  • Collaborate with Business Execution team members and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives
  • Develop governance processes and executive reporting on progress, outcomes, risks, and decision points
  • Prepare and present executive-level materials and recommendations for senior leadership reviews and governance forums
  • Influence, guide, and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff
  • Support proactive risk monitoring, governance, risk identification, escalation, and remediation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • Experience leading large-scale, cross-functional business transformation or growth initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of Business Banking, branch banking, or financial services
  • Ability to influence executive leaders and drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning capabilities
  • Experience developing executive communications, governance materials, and performance reporting
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to translate strategy into executable plans and measurable business outcomes
  • Ability to fulfill applicable risk and compliance obligations and follow Wells Fargo policies and procedures
  • Directly represent your own experiences during the recruiting and hiring process
