About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive new business and grow existing client relationships within Equipment Finance
- Originate, structure, and execute lease and loan financing solutions for commercial clients
- Assess client financials, understand business objectives, and deliver tailored credit solutions
- Lead moderately complex transactions from underwriting through funding
- Partner with coverage, credit, and product teams to advance deals and resolve client needs
- Source new relationships and expand an existing portfolio, targeting more than $30MM in annual funded volume
- Contribute to business planning and share market insights with product partners
- Support and mentor junior team members
- Lead or participate in sourcing new clients and growing existing relationships
- Analyze opportunities, structure and propose tailored financial solutions, coordinate internally, and submit transactions for approval
- Resolve moderately complex client issues using relevant policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Provide feedback on evolving market needs to support innovation, design, and delivery of credit solutions
- Contribute to large-scale planning for product or specialty business objectives
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of secured or specialized lending sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
- Background in sales and experience originating new prospective relationships
- Experience qualifying and closing lease and loan financing products
- Ability to analyze financial results
- Ability to work cooperatively with internal sales and credit teams to submit, credit approve, document, and fund transactions ranging from $100,000+
- Financial Services Experience
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and prioritizing skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in handling multiple projects and deadlines
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to travel 35% or more
- Ability to work a hybrid work schedule; current requirements are 4 days in-office
- Willingness to work on-site at the stated location
