About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the design, implementation, and support of complex Data Loss Prevention and data protection solutions
  • Provide advanced application support for enterprise DLP platforms, including troubleshooting, configuration management, data onboarding, and operational support
  • Support and maintain integrations between DLP platforms and upstream/downstream data sources
  • Design and maintain automated workflows to prepare, transform, and integrate sensitive data sources
  • Ensure DLP systems receive accurate and current HR, customer, PII, and other sensitive data feeds
  • Provide cybersecurity consulting and technical guidance to business and technology partners
  • Design, document, test, implement, and support security solutions across network, endpoint, cloud, application, and data protection domains
  • Perform root-cause analysis, technical troubleshooting, and resolution of complex security and integration issues
  • Conduct security risk assessments and recommend remediation strategies
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, conduct proof-of-concept testing, and develop enterprise implementation plans
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, application teams, infrastructure partners, and security stakeholders
  • Lead, mentor, and provide technical direction to junior engineers and team members
  • Drive continuous improvement in automation, operational efficiency, and security effectiveness
  • Use AI-assisted development and analysis tools to accelerate system design, coding, testing, analysis, and troubleshooting
  • Validate and integrate AI-assisted outputs while accounting for model limitations, security risks, and operational considerations
  • Apply AI responsibly in development and production in alignment with security, compliance, privacy, and ethical standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • 5+ years of experience troubleshooting in complex technical environments
  • 4+ years of experience supporting data transmission solutions in a large enterprise
  • 4+ years of experience leading and directing technical staff
  • 2+ years of experience with DLP and other Data Protection solutions
  • 2+ years of experience working with SQL queries
  • 2+ years of experience supporting application integrations using APIs, web services, or data exchange technologies
  • 2+ years of experience supporting MS SQL and/or Oracle databases
  • Experience supporting applications in Linux and Windows server environments
  • Experience using PowerShell, Bash, or Python
  • Experience performing technical product assessments and developing implementation plans in a large enterprise
  • Experience securing cloud data storage or transmission solutions
  • Experience mentoring or guiding less experienced staff
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Advanced critical thinking, problem-solving, and technical troubleshooting abilities
  • Security certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, or equivalent
  • Ability to participate in an on-call rotation
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
