About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee key accounting and financial reporting activities
  • Lead complex initiatives impacting deposits and digital assets
  • Drive development of a new Digital Assets Accounting Center of Excellence
  • Provide technical accounting expertise and guidance on risks and controls
  • Direct month-end close and external reporting processes

  • Provide technical expertise on accounting issues, regulatory information, and research
  • Provide technical assistance on major transactions and product development
  • Provide data for financial and regulatory reports
  • Communicate practices and procedures for proper financial controls in accordance with internal control policies
  • Explain the impact of policy changes to management
  • Serve as an internal consultant or final authority in the area of expertise
  • Provide technical interpretation and drive adoption of best practices
  • Lead complex projects or initiatives across multiple lines of business or the enterprise
  • Identify compliance and risk management requirements and implement key risk initiatives with stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Financial Reporting, Accounting Reporting or Risk Reporting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensing
  • Previous public accounting experience with a solid understanding of financial reporting, audit processes, accounting principles, and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Extensive accounting and leadership experience, including mentoring, developing, and guiding high-performing teams
  • Experience leading projects and mentoring small teams to successfully deliver business objectives
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Not eligible for Visa sponsorship
  • Must comply with applicable outside activities and personal investing policies
