About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the end-to-end Financial Advisor Compensation product strategy and multi-year roadmap
  • Translate compensation strategy and business needs into product outcomes, requirements, roadmap priorities, and delivery plans
  • Lead product initiatives spanning compensation capabilities, reporting, transparency, and supporting tools across advisor channels
  • Coordinate priorities, dependencies, and execution with Product, Human Resources, Finance, Field Leadership, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Operations
  • Conduct market, business, and data analysis to identify opportunities and inform product recommendations and investment decisions
  • Identify and implement responsible AI and automation opportunities for compensation processes
  • Review product capabilities and services while balancing advisor impact, financial accuracy, scalability, operational needs, and control effectiveness
  • Manage product backlogs, requirements, milestones, risks, and dependencies
  • Embed governance, compliance, auditability, and regulatory requirements into product design and delivery
  • Modernize and simplify compensation processes using AI, automation, and data-driven insights
  • Integrate AI-enabled solutions into workflows, including adoption planning, performance measurement, and evaluation of business value
  • Use business and advisor metrics to measure product performance and recommend enhancements
  • Resolve complex product and delivery issues with stakeholders and delivery teams
  • Lead projects or workstreams and mentor less experienced product team members
  • Prepare executive updates, recommendations, and decision materials on product strategy, delivery, risks, tradeoffs, and AI-enabled modernization

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • Experience supporting complex product strategies, roadmaps, and technology-enabled change in a regulated financial services environment
  • Knowledge of financial advisor compensation, incentive programs, advisor channels, or related wealth management products and processes
  • Strong financial, analytical, and data-driven decision-making skills
  • Experience partnering across Product, Human Resources, Finance, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Operations, and business leadership
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives, priorities, and dependencies
  • Understanding of risk management, governance, controls, and regulatory expectations within banking or financial services
  • Experience with agile product delivery and tools such as Jira, Confluence, Story Weaver, Octane, or similar platforms
  • Ability to work effectively in ambiguous and complex environments
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Leadership, collaboration, and mentoring skills
  • Successful completion of FINRA background screening requirements before hire
  • Compliance with ongoing FINRA regulatory obligations, including periodic screening and mandatory reporting
  • Compliance with applicable outside activities and personal investing policies
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
  • Position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
