Key responsibilities & impact

Lead complex, companywide technology initiatives with broad impact
Develop standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex, large-scale technology solutions
Design, code, test, debug, and document projects and programs
Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives
Make decisions on engineering and technology solutions using industry best practices and new technologies
Influence and lead technology teams to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
Collaborate with technical experts, senior technology teams, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues
Lead projects and teams or serve as a peer mentor
Design, implement, and support enterprise-scale solutions for financial forecasting, planning, and reporting
Support and modernize Oracle Essbase and associated infrastructure, including holistic implementation ownership

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
4+ years of experience working with enterprise data and implementing ETL solutions using technologies such as Python, PySpark, and object storage
3+ years of working experience in Oracle Essbase 21c and associated modules
Working experience with multidimensional databases in financial forecasting and planning
Working experience implementing and supporting infrastructure associated with Oracle Essbase implementations
Experience managing and supporting Essbase platforms, underlying infrastructure, and middleware configurations, including capacity planning, high availability, performance optimization, security controls, and production issue resolution
Bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering is desired
Ability to ramp up on implementation quickly
Ability to think outside the box and resolve day-to-day implementation issues
