About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Advise senior leadership on platform support solutions for complex business and technical needs
- Lead broad-impact initiatives and provide systems consultation for large-scale computer systems and network infrastructure planning
- Lead strategy and resolution of complex enterprise challenges
- Translate business objectives and advanced technology knowledge into technical engineering solutions
- Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership on innovative business solutions
- Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and recommend operational innovations
- Engage strategically with professionals and managers across the enterprise as an expert advisor
- Train and mentor less experienced team members
- Lead teams to meet technical deliverables while applying technical process controls and standards
- Drive reliability, resilience, performance, automation, observability, AI-enabled solutions, security, and stability for critical technology platforms
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
- 6+ years of Java experience
- 3+ years of experience in production support or operations engineering
- 5+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, Infrastructure Operations, or related domains
- 1+ years of experience designing, developing, testing, and supporting scalable applications
- Effective use of AI/GenAI and AI-assisted development tools
- 2+ years of experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD, Application Security, Infrastructure and Platform Security, observability, and Technology Hygiene practices across Lines of Business
- Experience applying Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles
- Experience using enterprise monitoring and observability tools
- Experience developing automation solutions
