About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Coach, lead, and manage staff supporting multiple or large loan functions
Manage Loan Production, Loan Servicing, and Commercial or Real Estate Construction Loan teams
Oversee loan processing, documentation, pre-closing or closing tasks, loan monitoring, loan servicing, and underwriting activities
Engage stakeholders and internal partners in Lending Operations
Identify and recommend process improvements and risk controls
Participate in formulating and implementing systems, policies, and guidelines
Ensure compliance with Wells Fargo legal, investor, regulatory, and business policies
Make credit decisions and resolve business unit or functional area performance issues
Interpret and develop policies and procedures for functional areas
Collaborate with Lending Operations peers, colleagues, and managers to provide quality customer service
Manage people and financial resource allocation
Mentor direct reports and assist in hiring talent
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Processing, Underwriting, Closing, and Funding teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

4+ years of Transactions and Processing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
2+ years of Leadership experience
In-depth understanding of Home Lending processes with focus on mortgage production: Origination, Applications, Processing, Underwriting, Closing, Funding
4+ years of experience in Customer Service, Loan Administration, Collections, Sales or Transactions and Processing, or equivalent
Willingness to work within US hours
Willingness to work onsite
Excellent spoken and written communication skills
