About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Recruit financial advisors within the assigned region
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of financial advisor candidates
  • Provide leadership with insight on industry trends, competitive intelligence, product platforms, deals, and compensation plans
  • Advise leadership on recruitment of experienced Financial Advisors and expand firm hiring within the assigned area
  • Partner with field recruiters to share knowledge and develop recruitment strategies and expertise
  • Build and maintain relationships with Financial Advisors to enhance satisfaction and retention
  • Develop partnerships with management to increase Financial Advisor hiring
  • Lead strategy and resolution of complex recruitment challenges across multiple enterprise areas
  • Deliver recruitment solutions that lead to organic revenue growth
  • Provide vision, direction, and expertise to leadership on innovative business solutions
  • Engage with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve recruitment-process issues

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of Wealth Channel Development experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • 7+ years of experience sourcing and recruiting Financial Advisors/Wealth Advisors
  • FINRA registration including Series 7 or FINRA recognized equivalents
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
  • FINRA Series 7 registration must be completed within 90 days of hire if not available for transfer upon hire
  • Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate FINRA license(s) is required for ongoing employment
  • Compliance with state law registration and licensing requirements is mandatory
  • Specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply
  • Meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards
  • Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam co-requisite may be required for specific FINRA qualification exams obtained after 9/30/2018
