Key responsibilities & impact

Build lasting customer relationships through proactive conversations and outreach
Understand customer needs and connect them with relevant banking products, services, and solutions
Identify opportunities, promote solutions, and make appropriate referrals to drive branch growth
Support new account openings, service requests, and credit applications
Perform cash handling and teller line activities while maintaining compliance and operational standards
Use digital tools and technologies to enhance the customer experience
Deliver accurate, compliant service within defined risk controls
Collaborate with branch teammates and coordinate handoffs to licensed bankers and specialists
Flex between cash handling and customer banking activities to support branch operations

What you’ll need

6+ months of interacting with customers experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
Prior experience in financial services or a highly regulated, customer-facing role preferred
Experience building trust-based customer relationships preferred
Comfort initiating outreach via calls, emails, or other channels preferred
Comfort with digital tools and technology, and ability to learn new systems preferred
Ability to identify customer needs and connect them to appropriate solutions preferred
Ability to collaborate with teammates and partners preferred
Ability to follow policies and regulations and escalate risk concerns preferred
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays
SAFE registration required at the time of employment; Wells Fargo initiates the process after the start date
Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo policies related to financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background
Credit report may be reviewed and additional ongoing screening may apply
