About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide personalized banking support across multiple branch locations within an assigned geographic area
  • Cover banker and teller absences and temporarily fill open positions as needed
  • Adapt to new branch environments, teams, and customer needs
  • Build customer relationships through proactive conversations and outreach
  • Identify customer needs and connect them with banking products, services, and solutions
  • Drive branch growth through appropriate referrals
  • Support account openings, service requests, and credit applications
  • Perform cash handling and teller line activities
  • Process transactions accurately while maintaining compliance and operational standards
  • Use digital tools and technologies to enhance customer experience
  • Deliver accurate, compliant service within defined risk controls
  • Coordinate handoffs to licensed bankers and specialists
  • Commute to assigned branch locations for the duration of assignments
  • Flex between cash handling and customer banking activities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6+ months of interacting with customers experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • Prior experience in financial services or a highly regulated customer-facing role preferred
  • Experience building trust-based customer relationships preferred
  • Comfort initiating outreach through calls, emails, or other channels preferred
  • Demonstrated comfort with digital tools and technology preferred
  • Ability to identify customer needs and connect them to appropriate solutions preferred
  • Proven ability to collaborate with teammates and partners preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to follow policies and regulations and escalate risk concerns preferred
  • Ability to travel 100% of the time within the assigned geography
  • Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays
  • SAFE registration required at employment; Wells Fargo initiates the process after the start date
  • Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo policies
  • Must meet standards related to financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background
  • Must be eligible to work without visa sponsorship
