About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Acquire, manage, and grow a portfolio of consumer and business customer relationships
  • Lead discovery-driven conversations to understand customer goals
  • Deliver tailored banking and credit strategies across deposits, lending, and investments
  • Coordinate warm introductions with Wealth, Home Lending, and Business Banking partners
  • Convert qualified opportunities into closed outcomes
  • Educate customers on self-service and mobile banking options
  • Resolve account inquiries and service requests within authorized limits
  • Document actions and set follow-up plans
  • Demonstrate risk excellence through accurate documentation, sound judgment, escalation, and policy adherence
  • Open accounts and handle everyday banking activities
  • Serve as the primary contact for banking needs through appointments, lobby engagement, and proactive outreach
  • Build customer credibility and loyalty through discovery conversations and consultative advice

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years of customer service experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • 1+ year of assessing and meeting customer needs or helping with issue resolution
  • 1+ year of building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
  • Ability to source, acquire, and deepen relationships through proactive outreach
  • Knowledge of book of business management practices and planning conversation documentation
  • Experience assessing needs and recommending products and services for consumer and business customers
  • 1+ year of financial services experience in consumer, home lending, business banking, or investments
  • FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 examinations or FINRA-recognized equivalents sufficient for immediate FINRA registration
  • State Insurance license(s)
  • FINRA licenses must be active or completed within a designated timeframe
  • Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam required for FINRA qualifications earned after September 30, 2018
  • SAFE registration required at the time of employment
  • Ability to work a schedule including most Saturdays
  • Must meet enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards
  • Must meet LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo policies for loan-originator compliance
  • Obtaining and maintaining required FINRA licenses is necessary for continued employment
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
