About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Acquire, manage, and grow a portfolio of consumer and business customer relationships
  • Lead discovery-driven conversations to understand customer goals and deliver tailored banking and credit strategies
  • Drive balanced growth across deposits, lending, and investments
  • Coordinate warm introductions and integrated solutions with Wealth, Home Lending, and Business Banking partners
  • Convert qualified opportunities into closed outcomes
  • Educate customers on self-service and mobile banking options
  • Resolve account inquiries and service requests within authorized limits
  • Document actions and set follow-up plans
  • Demonstrate risk excellence through accurate documentation, sound judgment, timely escalation, and policy and regulatory adherence
  • Complete licensing and SAFE requirements, transitioning from the temporary Relationship Banker LP role to Relationship Banker (SAFE) upon successful completion
  • Work collaboratively in a branch environment and provide ongoing customer support

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years of customer service experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • 1+ year of assessing and meeting the needs of customers or helping with issue resolution
  • 1+ year of building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
  • Ability to work a schedule that will include most Saturdays
  • FINRA Series 6 and Series 63, or FINRA-recognized equivalents, required to be active or completed within a designated timeframe
  • Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam required for FINRA qualification exams earned after September 30, 2018
  • State Insurance license(s) required to be active or completed within a designated timeframe
  • FINRA Series 65 or equivalent required within a specified period in designated states
  • Required FINRA licenses must be obtained and maintained for continued employment
  • Enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards
  • SAFE registration required at the time of employment
  • Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo policies
  • Credit report may be reviewed and additional ongoing screening may apply
  • Not eligible for visa sponsorship
  • Desired: financial services experience, customer and business banking knowledge, product recommendation experience, and FINRA Series 6/63 completion
