About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Acquire, manage, and grow a portfolio of consumer and business customer relationships
- Lead discovery-driven conversations to understand customer goals and deliver tailored banking and credit strategies
- Drive balanced growth across deposits, lending, and investments
- Coordinate warm introductions and partner with Wealth, Home Lending, and Business Banking
- Convert qualified opportunities into closed outcomes
- Educate customers on self-service and mobile banking options to champion digital adoption
- Resolve account inquiries and service requests within authorized limits
- Document actions and set follow-up plans
- Demonstrate risk excellence through accurate documentation, sound judgment, timely escalation, and adherence to policies and regulations
- Support everyday banking activities, including opening accounts and handling service requests
- Build customer credibility and loyalty through discovery conversations and proactive outreach
- Collaborate in a branch environment to meet customer needs through appropriate referrals
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years of customer service experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
- 1+ year of assessing and meeting the needs of customers or helping with issue resolution
- 1+ year of building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
- Ability to work a schedule that will include most Saturdays
- FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 (or FINRA recognized equivalents), and State Insurance license(s), active or completed within a designated timeframe
- Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam required for FINRA qualification exams earned after Sept. 30, 2018
- FINRA Series 65 (or equivalent) required within a specified period of time for Minnesota and other listed states
- Obtaining and maintaining required FINRA licenses is necessary for continued employment
- Enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards
- SAFE registration required at the time of employment
- LO/CFPB requirements for Loan Originators
- Must meet Wells Fargo policies concerning financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background
- Position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
- Desired: 1+ year of financial services experience
- Desired: Successfully completed FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 examinations or recognized equivalents
- Desired: State Insurance license(s)
