About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Acquire, manage, and grow a portfolio of consumer and business customer relationships
- Lead discovery-driven conversations to understand customer goals and deliver tailored banking and credit strategies
- Drive balanced growth across deposits, lending, and investments
- Coordinate warm introductions and partner with Wealth, Home Lending, and Business Banking teams
- Convert qualified opportunities into closed outcomes
- Educate customers on self-service and mobile banking options to drive digital adoption
- Resolve account inquiries and service requests within authorized limits
- Document actions and establish follow-up plans
- Ensure accurate documentation, sound judgment, timely issue escalation, and adherence to policies and regulations
- Transition from the temporary Relationship Banker LP role to Relationship Banker (SAFE) after licensing and SAFE requirements are completed
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years of customer service experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
- 1+ year of assessing and meeting customer needs or helping with issue resolution
- 1+ year of building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
- Ability to source, acquire, and deepen customer relationships through proactive outreach
- Knowledge of book of business management, planning conversation documentation, and follow-through
- Experience assessing needs and recommending products and services for consumer and business customers
- 1+ year of financial services experience in consumer, home lending, business banking, or investments
- FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 examinations or FINRA-recognized equivalents sufficient for immediate FINRA registration
- State Insurance license(s)
- Ability to work a schedule including most Saturdays
- Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam required for FINRA qualifications earned after September 30, 2018
- For Texas hires, FINRA Series 65 or equivalent examination must be attempted within a specified period
- Required FINRA licenses must be obtained and maintained for continued employment
- SAFE registration required at time of employment
- Must meet enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards
- Must meet LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo policies
- Not eligible for visa sponsorship
