About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Acquire, manage, and grow a portfolio of consumer and business customer relationships
  • Lead discovery-driven conversations to understand customer goals
  • Deliver tailored banking and credit strategies across deposits, lending, and investments
  • Coordinate warm introductions and partner with Wealth, Home Lending, and Business Banking
  • Convert qualified opportunities into closed outcomes
  • Educate customers on self-service and mobile banking options
  • Resolve account inquiries and service requests within authorized limits
  • Document actions and establish follow-up plans
  • Demonstrate risk excellence through accurate documentation, sound judgment, issue escalation, and policy compliance
  • Open accounts, handle service requests, and provide everyday banking products and services through appointments, lobby engagement, and proactive outreach
  • Build customer credibility and loyalty through discovery conversations and customized solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years of customer service experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • 1+ year of assessing and meeting customer needs or helping with issue resolution
  • 1+ year of building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
  • Ability to work a schedule that includes most Saturdays
  • FINRA Series 6 and Series 63, or FINRA-recognized equivalents, active or completed within a designated timeframe
  • Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam required for FINRA qualifications earned after September 30, 2018
  • FINRA Series 65 or equivalent required within a specified period for applicable states, including South Carolina
  • State Insurance license(s), active or completed within a designated timeframe
  • Required FINRA licenses must be obtained and maintained for continued employment
  • Enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards
  • SAFE registration required at the time of employment
  • LO/CFPB requirements for Loan Originators
  • Compliance with Wells Fargo policies regarding financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background
  • Position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
