About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Acquire, manage, and grow a portfolio of consumer and business customer relationships
- Lead discovery-driven conversations to understand customer goals and deliver tailored banking and credit strategies
- Drive balanced growth across deposits, lending, and investments
- Coordinate warm introductions and partner with Wealth, Home Lending, and Business Banking colleagues
- Convert qualified opportunities into closed outcomes
- Educate customers on self-service and mobile banking options to promote digital adoption
- Resolve account inquiries and service requests within authorized limits
- Document actions and set follow-up plans
- Demonstrate risk excellence through accurate documentation, sound judgment, timely escalation, and policy and regulatory adherence
- Open accounts, handle service requests, and provide everyday banking products and services
- Serve as the primary point of contact through scheduled appointments, lobby engagement, and proactive outreach
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years of customer service experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
- 1+ year of assessing and meeting the needs of customers or helping with issue resolution, demonstrated through work or military experience
- 1+ year of building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
- Ability to work a schedule that will include most Saturdays
- FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 (or FINRA recognized equivalents), which must be active or completed within a designated timeframe
- Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam required for FINRA qualification exams earned after Sept. 30, 2018
- FINRA Series 65 (or equivalent) required within a specified period for Maryland and other listed states
- State Insurance license(s), active or completed within a designated timeframe
- Required FINRA licenses must be obtained and maintained for continued employment
- Enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards
- SAFE registration required at the time of employment
- Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo policies regarding financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background
- Credit report may be reviewed and additional ongoing screening may apply
- Not eligible for Visa sponsorship
- Desired: 1+ year of financial services experience
- Desired: FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 examinations or recognized equivalents sufficient for immediate FINRA registration
- Desired: State Insurance license(s)
