About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Proactively acquire, manage, and grow a portfolio of consumer and business customer relationships
  • Lead discovery-driven conversations to understand customer goals and deliver tailored banking and credit strategies
  • Strengthen relationships, increase retention, and drive balanced growth across deposits, lending, and investments
  • Coordinate warm introductions and partner with Wealth, Home Lending, and Business Banking teams
  • Set clear expectations and take ownership of converting qualified opportunities into closed outcomes
  • Educate customers on self-service and mobile banking options to champion digital adoption
  • Resolve account inquiries and service requests within authorized limits
  • Document actions and set follow-up plans
  • Demonstrate risk excellence through accurate documentation, sound judgment, timely escalation, and adherence to policies and regulations
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for everyday banking needs, products, and services through appointments, lobby engagement, and proactive outreach
  • Help customers progress toward financial goals through planning, digital engagement, and customized deposit, credit, and investment solutions
  • Open accounts and handle everyday banking activities in a collaborative branch environment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years of customer service experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • 1+ year of assessing and meeting the needs of customers or helping with issue resolution
  • 1+ year of building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
  • Ability to work a schedule that will include most Saturdays
  • FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 (or FINRA recognized equivalents) must be active or completed within a designated timeframe
  • Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam required for FINRA qualification exams earned after Sept. 30, 2018
  • FINRA Series 65 (or equivalent) required within a specified period for applicable states
  • State Insurance license(s) must be active or completed within a designated timeframe
  • Obtaining and maintaining required FINRA licenses is necessary for continued employment
  • Enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards
  • SAFE registration required at the time of employment
  • Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo policies regarding financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background
  • Credit report may be reviewed and additional ongoing screening may apply
  • Position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
  • Desired: 1+ year of financial services experience
  • Desired: Experience with book of business management, planning conversation documentation, and customer relationship growth
  • Desired: Experience assessing needs and recommending consumer and business products and services
  • Desired: Successfully completed FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 examinations or recognized equivalents
  • Desired: State Insurance license(s)
