About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Acquire, manage, and grow a portfolio of consumer and business customer relationships
Lead discovery-driven conversations to understand customer goals and provide tailored banking and credit strategies
Drive balanced growth across deposits, lending, and investments
Coordinate warm introductions and partner with Wealth, Home Lending, and Business Banking colleagues
Convert qualified opportunities into closed outcomes
Promote digital adoption by educating customers about self-service and mobile banking
Resolve account inquiries and service requests within authorized limits
Document actions and establish follow-up plans
Maintain accurate documentation, exercise sound judgment, escalate issues, and follow policies and regulations
Support customers through scheduled appointments, lobby engagement, proactive outreach, account opening, and service requests
Deliver seamless customer experiences and appropriate referrals in a collaborative branch environment

Requirements

What you’ll need

2+ years of customer service experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
1+ year of assessing and meeting customer needs or helping with issue resolution
1+ year of building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
Ability to work a schedule including most Saturdays
FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 licenses or recognized equivalents, active or completed within a designated timeframe
Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam required for FINRA qualifications earned after September 30, 2018
FINRA Series 65 or equivalent examination required to be attempted within a specified period for Delaware hires
Required FINRA licenses must be obtained and maintained for continued employment
State Insurance license(s), active or completed within a designated timeframe
SAFE registration required at time of employment
LO/CFPB requirements for Loan Originators
Enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards
Credit report may be reviewed and additional ongoing screening may apply
Not eligible for visa sponsorship
Desired: financial services experience; FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 examinations; State Insurance license(s); knowledge of book of business management; experience recommending consumer and business banking products and services
