About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Acquire, manage, and grow a portfolio of consumer and business customer relationships
- Lead discovery-driven conversations to understand customer goals and provide tailored banking and credit strategies
- Drive balanced growth across deposits, lending, and investments
- Coordinate warm introductions and integrated solutions with Wealth, Home Lending, and Business Banking partners
- Convert qualified opportunities into closed outcomes
- Educate customers on self-service and mobile banking options
- Resolve account inquiries and service requests within authorized limits
- Document actions and establish follow-up plans
- Maintain risk excellence through accurate documentation, sound judgment, timely escalation, and regulatory compliance
- Open accounts, handle service requests, and provide everyday banking support
- Build customer credibility and loyalty through consultative relationship management
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years of customer service experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
- 1+ year of assessing and meeting customer needs or helping with issue resolution
- 1+ year of building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
- Ability to work a schedule that includes most Saturdays
- FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 examinations or FINRA-recognized equivalents, active or completed within a designated timeframe
- Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam required for FINRA qualifications earned after September 30, 2018
- State Insurance license(s), active or completed within a designated timeframe
- FINRA Series 65 or equivalent required within a specified period in listed states
- Required FINRA licenses must be obtained and maintained for continued employment
- Enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards
- SAFE registration required at the time of employment
- Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo policies concerning financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background
- No visa sponsorship available
- Desired: proactive relationship sourcing and acquisition; book of business management; needs assessment and product recommendation; digital banking education; clear communication and empathetic listening; 1+ year of financial services experience; FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 completion; State Insurance license(s)
