About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Acquire, manage, and grow a portfolio of consumer and business customer relationships
  • Lead discovery-driven conversations to understand customer goals and deliver tailored banking and credit strategies
  • Drive retention and balanced growth across deposits, lending, and investments
  • Coordinate warm introductions and partner with Wealth, Home Lending, and Business Banking professionals
  • Convert qualified opportunities into closed outcomes
  • Educate customers on self-service and mobile banking options to champion digital adoption
  • Resolve account inquiries and service requests within authorized limits
  • Document actions and set follow-up plans
  • Demonstrate risk excellence through accurate documentation, sound judgment, timely issue escalation, and adherence to policies and regulations
  • Support customers with everyday banking activities, including opening accounts and handling service requests
  • Build credibility and loyalty through discovery conversations and proactive outreach

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years of customer service experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • 1+ year of assessing and meeting the needs of customers or helping with issue resolution
  • 1+ year of building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
  • Ability to work a schedule that will include most Saturdays
  • FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 (or FINRA recognized equivalents), active or completed within a designated timeframe
  • Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam required for FINRA qualification exams earned after Sept. 30, 2018
  • State Insurance license(s), active or completed within a designated timeframe
  • FINRA Series 65 (or equivalent) required within a specified period for certain listed states
  • Required FINRA licenses must be obtained and maintained for continued employment
  • Enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards
  • SAFE registration required at the time of employment
  • Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo policies
  • Credit report may be reviewed and additional ongoing screening may apply
  • Not eligible for Visa sponsorship
  • Desired: ability to source, acquire, and deepen relationships through proactive outreach
  • Desired: knowledge of book of business management, planning conversation documentation, and follow-through
  • Desired: experience assessing needs and recommending consumer and business products and services
  • Desired: ability to communicate clearly, listen with empathy, and build credibility and trust
  • Desired: 1+ year of financial services experience
  • Desired: successfully completed FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 examinations or recognized equivalents
