About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Acquire, manage, and grow a portfolio of consumer and business customer relationships
  • Lead discovery-driven conversations to understand customer goals and deliver tailored banking and credit strategies
  • Drive balanced growth across deposits, lending, and investments
  • Partner with Wealth, Home Lending, and Business Banking professionals to deliver integrated solutions
  • Coordinate warm introductions, set expectations, and convert qualified opportunities into closed outcomes
  • Educate customers on self-service and mobile banking options to promote digital adoption
  • Resolve account inquiries and service requests within authorized limits
  • Document actions and set follow-up plans
  • Demonstrate risk excellence through accurate documentation, sound judgment, timely escalation, and policy and regulatory adherence
  • Support everyday banking activities including opening accounts and handling service requests
  • Participate in the Branch Network Licensed Banker program if hired into the Relationship Banker LP role

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years of customer service experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • 1+ year of assessing and meeting customer needs or helping with issue resolution
  • 1+ year of building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
  • Ability to work a schedule that will include most Saturdays
  • FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 (or FINRA-recognized equivalents) required and must be active or completed within a designated timeframe
  • Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam required for FINRA qualifications earned after September 30, 2018
  • FINRA Series 65 (or equivalent) required within a specified period for listed states where hired
  • State Insurance license(s) required
  • Obtaining and maintaining required FINRA licenses is necessary for continued employment
  • Enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards
  • SAFE registration required at the time of employment
  • Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements
  • Credit report may be reviewed and additional ongoing screening may apply
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
  • 1+ year of financial services experience is a desired qualification
  • Successfully completed FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 examinations and State Insurance license(s) are desired qualifications
  • Proven ability to source, acquire, and deepen relationships through proactive outreach
  • Knowledge of book of business management, planning conversation documentation, and follow-through
  • Experience assessing needs and recommending products and services for consumer and business customers
  • Ability to communicate clearly, listen with empathy, and build credibility and trust
