About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Acquire, manage, and grow a portfolio of consumer and business customer relationships
Lead discovery-driven conversations to understand customer goals and deliver tailored banking and credit strategies
Increase retention and drive balanced growth across deposits, lending, and investments
Coordinate warm introductions and partner with Wealth, Home Lending, and Business Banking professionals
Convert qualified opportunities into closed outcomes
Educate customers on self-service and mobile banking options to champion digital adoption
Resolve account inquiries and service requests within authorized limits
Document actions and establish follow-up plans
Maintain accurate documentation, exercise sound judgment, escalate issues, and adhere to policies and regulations
Support customers through scheduled appointments, lobby engagement, proactive outreach, account opening, and service requests
Transition from the temporary Relationship Banker LP role to Relationship Banker (SAFE) after successful licensing and SAFE completion

Requirements

What you’ll need

2+ years of customer service experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
1+ year of assessing and meeting customer needs or helping with issue resolution
1+ year of building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
Ability to work a schedule that will include most Saturdays
FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 examinations or FINRA-recognized equivalents, active or completed within a designated timeframe
Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam required for FINRA qualifications earned after September 30, 2018
State Insurance license(s), active or completed within a designated timeframe
FINRA Series 65 or equivalent required within a specified period for applicable states
Required FINRA licenses must be obtained and maintained for continued employment
Enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards
SAFE registration required at time of employment
Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements
Must comply with Wells Fargo policies concerning financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background
Position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
