About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide personalized banking support across multiple branch locations within an assigned geographic area
  • Cover banker and teller absences and temporarily fill open positions as needed
  • Adapt to new branch environments, teams, and customer needs while maintaining consistent service quality and bank standards
  • Build customer relationships through proactive conversations supporting financial well-being and engagement
  • Lead discovery-driven conversations to understand customer needs and connect them with banking products, services, and solutions
  • Drive branch growth by identifying opportunities, promoting solutions, and making referrals
  • Support account openings, service requests, and credit applications
  • Perform cash handling and teller line activities and accurately process transactions
  • Use digital tools and technologies to enhance customer experience
  • Deliver accurate, compliant service using sound judgment within defined risk controls
  • Collaborate with branch teammates to coordinate handoffs to licensed bankers and specialists
  • Support branch operations by flexing between cash handling and customer banking activities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6+ months of interacting with customers experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • Prior experience in financial services or a highly regulated customer-facing role is desired
  • Experience building trust-based customer relationships is desired
  • Comfort initiating outreach through calls, emails, or other channels is desired
  • Comfort with digital tools and technology and ability to quickly learn new systems is desired
  • Ability to identify customer needs and connect them to appropriate solutions is desired
  • Ability to collaborate with teammates and partners is desired
  • Ability to follow policies and regulations and identify and escalate risk concerns is desired
  • Ability to travel 100% of the time within the assigned geography
  • Ability to commute to assigned branch location(s) for the duration of the assignment
  • Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays
  • SAFE registration required at the time of employment; Wells Fargo will initiate the process after the start date
  • Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and comply with Wells Fargo policies, including financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background standards
  • A credit report may be reviewed and additional ongoing screening may apply
  • Position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
