About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide personalized banking support across multiple branch locations within an assigned geographic area
Cover banker and teller absences and temporarily fill open positions as needed
Adapt to new branch environments, teams, and customer needs while maintaining consistent service quality
Build customer relationships through proactive conversations supporting financial well-being
Lead discovery-driven conversations to understand customer needs and connect them with relevant banking products and services
Identify opportunities, promote solutions, and make referrals to meet customer and business goals
Support account openings, service requests, and credit applications
Perform cash handling and teller-line activities while processing transactions accurately
Use digital tools and technologies to enhance customer experience
Deliver accurate, compliant service within defined risk controls
Coordinate handoffs to licensed bankers and other specialists
Flex between cash handling and customer banking activities to support branch operations

Requirements

What you’ll need

6+ months of interacting with customers experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
Prior experience in financial services or a highly regulated customer-facing role is desired
Experience building trust-based customer relationships is desired
Comfort initiating outreach through calls, emails, or other channels is desired
Comfort with digital tools and technology, and ability to learn new systems is desired
Ability to identify customer needs and connect them to appropriate solutions is desired
Ability to collaborate with teammates and partners is desired
Ability to follow policies and regulations and escalate risk concerns is desired
Ability to travel 100% of the time within the assigned geography
Ability to commute to assigned branch locations for the duration of assignments
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays
SAFE registration required at the time of employment; Wells Fargo initiates the process after the start date
Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo policies
Must satisfy standards related to financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background
A credit report may be reviewed and additional ongoing screening may apply
