About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide personalized banking support across multiple branch locations within an assigned geographic area
- Cover banker and teller absences and temporarily fill open positions as needed
- Adapt to new branch environments, teams, and customer needs while maintaining service quality and bank standards
- Build customer relationships through proactive conversations and outreach
- Lead discovery-driven conversations to understand customer needs
- Connect customers with relevant banking products, services, solutions, and digital tools
- Drive branch growth by identifying opportunities, promoting solutions, and making appropriate referrals
- Support account openings, service requests, and credit applications
- Perform cash handling and teller line activities
- Process transactions accurately while maintaining compliance and operational standards
- Use and adopt digital tools to enhance customer experience
- Deliver accurate, compliant service within defined risk controls
- Collaborate with branch teammates to coordinate handoffs to licensed bankers and specialists
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6+ months of interacting with customers experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
- Prior experience in financial services or a highly regulated customer-facing role is desired
- Experience building trust-based customer relationships is desired
- Comfort initiating outreach through calls, emails, or other channels is desired
- Comfort with digital tools and technology is desired
- Ability to identify customer needs and connect them to appropriate solutions is desired
- Ability to collaborate with teammates and partners is desired
- Ability to follow policies and regulations while identifying and escalating risk concerns is desired
- Ability to travel 100% of the time within assigned geography
- Ability to commute to assigned branch location(s) for the duration of the assignment
- Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays
- SAFE registration is required at the time of employment; Wells Fargo will initiate the process after the start date
- Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo policies, including standards related to financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background
- A credit report may be reviewed and additional ongoing screening may apply
