About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide Data, Analytics, and Reporting support to Financial Crimes Operations teams
  • Consult, review, and research moderately complex business, operational, and technical challenges
  • Perform moderately complex data analysis to support strategic initiatives and business needs
  • Develop understanding of technical systems and business processes to extract data-driven insights
  • Identify opportunities for engineering enhancements
  • Lead or participate in large cross-group projects
  • Mentor less experienced staff
  • Collaborate with peers, colleagues, external contractors, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Apply compliance and risk management requirements in the supported area
  • Independently problem-solve and execute with minimal manager oversight

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • 4+ years Business or Risk/Compliance Analytics and/or AML or Operations
  • 4+ years SQL data querying experience with Teradata, SQL Server, Oracle, or GCP
  • 2+ years developing in Fabric, Python, or Alteryx
  • Business Intelligent Report development experience with Power BI, Tableau, or SSRS
  • Prior experience building/supporting large analytical and/or reporting data environments
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to lead through adversity and adjust to changing priorities
  • Demonstrated experience in business-oriented analysis, metrics design, and data visualization techniques using large data sets from varied data sources
  • Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision and manage work requests to meet performance expectations
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
