About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead branches within a Wells Fargo Advisors market
  • Build an environment fostering sustained organic and inorganic growth
  • Coach Financial Advisors on new client acquisition, relationship deepening, client service, and care
  • Build, maintain, and hire a cross-channel pipeline of Financial Advisors
  • Build trust and relationships with Financial Advisors, Client Associates, Governance and Support professionals, market leaders, and branch communities
  • Own and direct branch activity, day-to-day workflow, service and risk escalation, and coordinated client care
  • Manage branch P&L and expenses
  • Recruit experienced Financial Advisors and retain talent
  • Lead teams to grow net asset flows, lending balances, and same-store sales
  • Develop branch culture to drive employee engagement and growth
  • Manage staff, support partnerships, risk/compliance, expenses, P&L, and exceptions
  • Execute Wells Fargo Wealth and Investment Management strategic vision
  • Collaborate with and influence senior managers, centers of excellence, home office departments, and divisional leaders
  • Serve as a visible leader in branches and communities
  • Allocate people and financial resources to meet commitments and strategic objectives
  • Partner with market leadership to support branches and market channels
  • Perform a non-producing role
  • Assess customer needs and refer dwelling-secured-product customers to SAFE team members without taking applications or offering or negotiating transaction terms

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of Financial Advisory experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • 3+ years of management or leadership experience
  • US only: Successfully completed FINRA Series 7 and 63 examinations, or FINRA recognized equivalents, sufficient to qualify for immediate FINRA registration
  • Must meet Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Loan Originator qualification requirements
  • Must meet financial responsibility, character, general financial fitness, and criminal background standards
  • Must obtain and/or maintain appropriate FINRA licenses for ongoing employment
  • FINRA Series 9 and 10 and FINRA 65 or 66, or equivalents, must be completed within the specified post-hire deadlines
  • Compliance with state law registration and licensing requirements is mandatory
  • Specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply
  • Must successfully complete and pass a background check prior to hire
  • Must comply with ongoing regulatory obligations, periodic screening, and mandatory incident reporting
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
