About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Acquire new affluent consumer and business customers through outreach, referrals, and appointments
  • Deepen existing customer relationships through discovery-driven conversations
  • Understand customer goals and deliver tailored banking and credit strategies
  • Provide comprehensive, multi-product guidance across deposits, investments, credit, home lending, and business banking
  • Own and grow a defined book of business
  • Conduct ongoing customer reviews across life stages and evolving financial needs
  • Collaborate with Wealth, Home Lending, and Business Banking partners
  • Coordinate warm introductions and convert qualified opportunities into closed outcomes
  • Educate customers on self-service and mobile banking options
  • Open accounts and handle customer service requests
  • Advise branch colleagues on relationship development and complex client needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation, exercise sound judgment, escalate issues, and follow policies and regulations
  • Complete licensing and SAFE registration requirements; transition from the temporary LP role to Senior Branch Premier Banker (SAFE) upon successful completion

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4+ years of customer service experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • 3+ years of experience building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
  • 3+ years of experience recommending products and services
  • Ability to work a schedule that will include most Saturdays
  • FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 (or FINRA-recognized equivalents), active or completed within a designated timeframe
  • Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam required for FINRA qualification exams earned after September 30, 2018
  • FINRA Series 65 (or equivalent) required within a specified period for listed states where hired
  • Active or timely completion of State Insurance license(s)
  • Required FINRA licenses must be obtained and maintained for continued employment
  • Enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards
  • SAFE registration required at the time of employment
  • Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo policies
  • Credit report may be reviewed and additional ongoing screening may apply
  • No visa sponsorship available
  • Desired: experience recommending financial products and translating customer goals into actionable recommendations
  • Desired: experience sourcing, acquiring, and deepening customer relationships
  • Desired: experience managing a book of business and documenting planning conversations
  • Desired: experience coaching or supporting peers

  • Desired: 3+ years of experience in a licensed financial services position
