About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Acquire new affluent consumer and business customers through strategic outreach, referrals, and pre-planned appointments
- Deepen existing customer relationships through discovery-driven conversations
- Deliver tailored banking and credit strategies across deposits, lending, and investments
- Serve as the primary financial partner providing comprehensive, multi-product guidance and ongoing reviews
- Manage and actively grow a defined book of business
- Coordinate warm introductions and integrated solutions with Wealth, Home Lending, and Business Banking partners
- Convert qualified opportunities into closed outcomes
- Educate customers on self-service and mobile banking options
- Advise branch colleagues on relationship development and complex client needs
- Maintain accurate documentation, exercise sound judgment, escalate issues, and follow policies and regulations
- Transition from the temporary Senior Branch Premier Banker LP role to Senior Branch Premier Banker (SAFE) after licensing and SAFE registration completion
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4+ years of customer service experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
- 3+ years of experience building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
- 3+ years of experience recommending products and services
- Experience recommending financial products and translating customer goals into clear, actionable recommendations
- Demonstrated ability to proactively source, acquire, and deepen relationships through proactive outreach and building strong internal partnership to support the customer experience
- Proven experience managing a book-of-business, documenting planning conversations, and consistent follow-through to drive retention and growth across deposits, lending, and investments
- Experience coaching or supporting peers to strengthen team performance and customer impact
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and confidently, listen with empathy, and build credibility and trust quickly with others
- Financial services industry experience in consumer, home lending, business banking, or investments
- 3+ years of experience in a licensed financial services position
- Successfully completed FINRA Series 6 and 63 exams or FINRA-recognized equivalents sufficient to qualify for immediate FINRA registration
- State Insurance license(s)
- Active or timely completion of FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 or recognized equivalents and State Insurance license(s)
- Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam required for FINRA qualification exams earned after September 30, 2018
- FINRA Series 65 or equivalent required within a specified period for hires in Connecticut and listed states
- Required FINRA licenses must be obtained and maintained for continued employment
- Enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards
- SAFE registration required at the time of employment
- Ability to meet LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo policies
- Credit report may be reviewed and additional ongoing screening may apply
- Not eligible for Visa sponsorship
- Ability to work a schedule that will include most Saturdays
