About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Acquire new affluent consumer and business customers through strategic outreach, referrals, and planned appointments
  • Deepen existing customer relationships through discovery-driven conversations
  • Understand customer goals and deliver tailored banking and credit strategies
  • Serve as the primary financial partner with comprehensive, multi-product guidance and ongoing reviews
  • Manage and grow a defined book of business
  • Deliver solutions across deposits, investments, credit, home lending, and business banking
  • Partner with Wealth, Home Lending, and Business Banking teams through warm introductions and opportunity conversion
  • Educate customers on self-service and mobile banking options
  • Advise branch colleagues on relationship development and complex client needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation, exercise sound judgment, escalate issues, and follow policies and regulations
  • Transition from the temporary Senior Branch Premier Banker LP role after completing licensing requirements and SAFE registration

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4+ years of customer service experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • 3+ years of experience building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
  • 3+ years of experience recommending products and services
  • Experience recommending financial products and translating customer goals into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively source, acquire, and deepen relationships through proactive outreach and strong internal partnerships
  • Experience managing a book of business, documenting planning conversations, and driving retention and growth across deposits, lending, and investments
  • Experience coaching or supporting peers
  • Ability to communicate clearly and confidently, listen with empathy, and build credibility and trust
  • Financial services industry experience in consumer, home lending, business banking, or investments
  • 3+ years of experience in a licensed financial services position
  • Successfully completed FINRA Series 6 and 63 exams, or FINRA-recognized equivalents, sufficient to qualify for immediate FINRA registration
  • State Insurance license(s)
  • Active or timely completion of required FINRA and State Insurance licenses
  • Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam required for FINRA qualifications earned after September 30, 2018
  • FINRA Series 65 or equivalent required in specified states
  • Ability to work a schedule including most Saturdays
  • Enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards
  • SAFE registration required at the time of employment
  • Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo policies
  • Credit report review and additional ongoing screening may apply
  • Not eligible for Visa sponsorship
