About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
  • Contribute to large-scale strategy planning
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document technology projects and programs, including upgrades and deployments
  • Review moderately complex technical challenges and evaluate technologies and procedures
  • Resolve technical issues while leveraging knowledge of functions, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Lead a team to meet existing or potential client needs
  • Collaborate with peers, colleagues, business stakeholders, and mid-level managers
  • Lead projects and act as an escalation point
  • Provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
  • Develop and support technology solutions for identifying, measuring, aggregating, and reporting counterparty credit risk

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • 4+ years of Python development experience
  • 4+ years of SQL development and data analysis experience
  • 2+ years of Power BI reporting and dashboard development experience
  • Must be able to work onsite at one of the posted locations
  • Strong understanding of capital markets and investment banking domain
  • Experience with counterparty credit risk, capital markets products, and relevant regulatory frameworks
  • Understanding of clearing operations, prime brokerage, and broader investment banking business processes
  • 3+ years of experience supporting Counterparty Credit Risk functions within Capital Markets environments
  • Experience developing and supporting data visualizations using Dremio
  • Java development experience
  • Experience working in Agile delivery teams, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and stand-ups
  • Proficiency with Jira and Confluence
  • Experience utilizing CI/CD tools
  • Experience with Apache Iceberg table formats
  • Experience leveraging GitHub Copilot
  • Ability to utilize Agentic AI tools for data pipelines and data solutions
