About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead, coach, and develop Branch Managers across a district
- Drive district sales, growth, productivity, and performance across deposits, credit, and investments
- Translate enterprise and regional strategy into branch-level routines and expectations
- Build leadership capability, talent pipelines, development plans, and succession readiness
- Plan workforce needs and ensure branches have the appropriate leadership and staffing
- Partner with Talent Acquisition, HR, Wealth & Investment Management, Business Banking, Home Lending, Operations, and other internal teams
- Monitor customer feedback and resolve escalated concerns
- Deliver coordinated consumer, affluent, and small business banking experiences
- Manage operational risk, compliance, governance, and ethical leadership
- Use performance reporting and insights to identify opportunities and achieve measurable improvements
- Conduct regular branch visits, observation, coaching, performance management, and business reviews
- Foster an inclusive, engaging, and high-performing culture
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
- 3+ years of management or leadership experience
- Ability to work a schedule that may include Saturdays
- Ability to travel regularly within the assigned geography, averaging 3–4 days per week, depending on business priorities
- Strong analytical and business acumen
- Experience using performance insights to identify trends, diagnose opportunities, and guide leaders to measurable improvement
- Experience building partnerships across functions and levels in a matrixed environment
- Ability to lead through change and manage risk
- Strong judgment, communication, and influence skills
