About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
  • Manage and develop a team of Financial Advisors with moderate complexity and risk
  • Improve sales results through consultative sales, financial planning, and a full balance sheet approach
  • Engage and influence stakeholders and internal partners associated with the Financial Advisory function
  • Coach Financial Advisors to partner with wealth management specialists and licensed bankers
  • Identify opportunities to improve client experience
  • Assist Financial Advisors in delivering appropriate client solutions
  • Determine team strategies and actions to meet moderate- to high-risk deliverables
  • Interpret and develop Financial Advisory policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with professionals at all levels, including senior managers
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources to meet commitments and strategic objectives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of Financial Advisory experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • 3+ years of management or leadership experience
  • Successfully completed FINRA Series 7 and 63 examinations, or FINRA recognized equivalents, sufficient to qualify for immediate FINRA registration
  • Appropriate FINRA licenses must be obtained and/or maintained for ongoing employment
  • FINRA Series 9 and 10 examinations or equivalent must be completed within 120 days following commencement of employment if not completed at hire
  • FINRA Series 65 or 66 examinations or equivalent must be completed within 90 or 180 days following commencement of employment, depending on licensing needs
  • Compliance with state law registration and licensing requirements is mandatory
  • Specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply
  • Enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards
  • Successful completion of FINRA background screening and background check prior to hire
  • Ongoing regulatory obligations, including periodic screening and mandatory reporting
  • Designated insurance license requirements must be completed within 90 or 180 days following commencement of employment
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
