About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead high-priority initiatives from planning through execution, ensuring measurable outcomes and alignment with organizational objectives
  • Support strategic planning across product domains and refine the product operating model, including discovery, planning, and investment business case development
  • Define, refine, and implement product execution processes such as intake, prioritization, planning cadences, dependency management, decision forums, and governance models
  • Bridge product and technology teams to improve shared understanding, collaboration, and alignment on scope, tradeoffs, and delivery outcomes
  • Review and improve collaboration patterns across domains, identifying friction points and driving changes that increase speed, clarity, and effectiveness
  • Establish and operationalize measurement and refinement frameworks, including success metrics, dashboards, performance reviews, and continuous improvement loops
  • Partner with data and reporting teams to generate insights, interpret trends, and translate findings into actionable recommendations
  • Support future discovery and product vision by structuring discovery efforts, synthesizing insights, and connecting learning to strategic and investment decisions
  • Improve organizational effectiveness and identify opportunities for scale, simplification, and consistency
  • Lead cross-functional efforts to strategize, plan, and execute complex initiatives across product and technology environments
  • Drive change through expertise, facilitation, and partnership
  • Drive continuous improvement across strategic approaches, execution effectiveness, and performance across multiple domains
  • Perform structured assessments and fact-finding to solve complex, ambiguous problems and develop scalable solutions
  • Make recommendations in highly complex situations requiring deep understanding of products, processes, and interdependencies
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, connecting strategy, execution, and outcomes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery, or agile product owner experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • Experience working within an external consulting or professional services firm
  • Process engineering experience, such as Lean process modeling
  • Strong facilitation skills with the ability to guide groups toward decisions, alignment, and commitment
  • Experience in multiple consumer lending products
  • Proficiency in presentation and analytical tools, including PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience with data visualization tools is a plus
  • Comfort operating across strategy, discovery, execution, and change management activities
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
  • Ability to comply with Wells Fargo policies, procedures, risk programs, and compliance obligations
  • Must directly represent your own experiences during the recruiting and hiring process
