About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead a critical product area within Wells Fargo's Credit Services product line
  • Own a foundational product domain enabling real-time credit decisioning, including decisioning orchestration and data enablement
  • Translate complex business problems into scalable technology solutions
  • Advise senior leadership on product strategies, roadmaps, and priorities for complex digital credit eligibility and decisioning capabilities
  • Own end-to-end delivery of product features and initiatives from discovery through delivery and operational readiness
  • Partner with engineering and architecture teams on solution options, trade-offs, dependencies, and implementation approaches
  • Translate business objectives into actionable product requirements that optimize technology delivery and platform scalability
  • Align product and engineering capabilities while balancing speed to market, resilience, and control
  • Drive discovery, refinement, and prioritization of product initiatives
  • Coordinate and influence across business, technology, data, and external partners
  • Provide product vision, direction, and accountability within the assigned product area
  • Communicate product strategy, progress, trade-offs, and risks to senior executives and governance forums
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in modern digital product practices and real-time decisioning environments
  • Partner on APIs, data movement, and orchestration solutions
  • Foster agile discipline and continuous improvement using agility metrics
  • Build decision-making frameworks for complex decisions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery, or agile product owner experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • Demonstrated expertise decomposing large, ambiguous business problems into discrete technology capabilities and executable work streams
  • Strong systems thinking skills across applications, data platforms, APIs, business processes, and operational workflows
  • Demonstrated success owning end-to-end product delivery for complex technology-centric capabilities
  • Strong product partnership experience with engineering, architecture, and data teams
  • Ability to align business objectives to technology roadmaps and prioritize work across multiple teams
  • Financial services experience, with understanding of governance, control, and risk considerations
  • Experience translating business problems into clear, executable product initiatives
  • Ability to manage large, multi-stakeholder books of work
  • Exceptional executive communication skills
  • Ability to influence outcomes across business, technology, data, and external partners
  • Ability to synthesize complex, interrelated concepts into clear implications, actions, and decisions
  • Effective influencing and collaboration at all levels
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to translate complex business and operational concepts clearly
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Expected to work onsite from one of the stated locations on a hybrid schedule
