About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, retain, and grow complex client relationships
  • Lead structuring, modification, and renewal of complex cash flow, real estate loans, and other industry-specific solutions
  • Analyze financials, present to clients, coordinate with internal stakeholders, and partner with senior peers on complex transactions
  • Review and offer Wells Fargo’s full suite of complex commercial client solutions
  • Engage product organizations to develop client-specific solutions
  • Make decisions in complex situations within Commercial Banking Relationship Management
  • Lead teams to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
  • Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve client issues and achieve business objectives
  • Help clients navigate Wells Fargo processes and escalate inquiries when needed
  • Identify and recommend process improvements and risk control enhancements
  • Mentor less experienced colleagues
  • Drive relationship planning activities and maintain sales and pipeline disciplines
  • Support Business Development Representatives in sourcing new Commercial Banking clients
  • Cultivate relationships through existing networks
  • Partner with Commercial Lending Product Management to provide feedback on client and market needs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of Commercial Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • Fundamental knowledge of the technology ecosystem
  • Extensive relationships with technology companies, venture capital firms, non-bank lenders, and service providers
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of core banking products and services, such as commercial lending and treasury management
  • Completion of formal credit training program
  • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively to deliver the organization to clients and prospects
  • Demonstrated experience generating new client relationships and building and retaining long-term client relationships
  • Experience identifying and mitigating risk and ensuring compliance with processes and procedures
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
