About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Proactively support Senior Philanthropic Advisors in the day-to-day management of accounts
  • Handle money movement, overdrafts, routine account maintenance, additional-account onboarding, account closing, and fee discontinuation submissions
  • Prepare, send, and track routine forms and information requests
  • Monitor account liquidity for upcoming fees, taxes, and distributions; contact Portfolio Managers to raise cash when needed
  • Communicate responsively, accurately, clearly, and professionally with internal and external parties
  • Execute processes, procedures, regulatory requirements, and risk-mitigation activities
  • Interface with firm-based systems used by Trust Services
  • Adhere to Wells Fargo policies and procedures, including complaint, issue-management, and escalation policies
  • Partner with Middle Office, WIM Operations, and CRG Partners on KYC updates, maintenance, and completion
  • Collaborate with relationship teams and stakeholders to ensure a coordinated client experience
  • Assist in preparing materials for trust-acumen education for internal partners
  • Communicate proactively about items impacting client accounts
  • Serve as a technical resource and mentor junior team members
  • Seek out formal and informal mentors

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years of administrative or sales support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • Knowledge and understanding of estate, trust, or fiduciary administration
  • Knowledge and understanding of philanthropic concepts
  • Knowledge and understanding of fiduciary law and federal regulations
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
  • High level of organizational skills, including time and priority management
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with relationship team members, clients’ advisors, and other colleagues
  • Ability to operate within a diverse, fast-paced environment
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills
  • Experience in a client-facing environment
  • Customer service experience
  • Administrative support experience
  • Exposure to Wells Fargo Trust operations applications and systems such as SEI Trust 3000, TRMS (Trust Money Movement Systems), and Client Link
