About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Acquire new affluent consumer and business customers and deepen existing relationships through outreach, referrals, and appointments
  • Conduct discovery-driven conversations to understand customer goals and deliver tailored banking and credit strategies
  • Serve as the primary financial partner by providing comprehensive multi-product guidance and ongoing reviews
  • Coordinate integrated solutions across Wealth, Home Lending, and Business Banking
  • Make warm introductions, set expectations, and convert qualified opportunities into closed outcomes
  • Educate customers on self-service and mobile banking options
  • Advise branch colleagues on relationship development and complex client needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation, exercise sound judgment, escalate issues, and adhere to policies and regulations
  • Manage and grow a defined book of business across deposits, investments, credit, home lending, and business banking
  • Support everyday banking needs, including opening accounts and handling service requests
  • Transition from the temporary license-pending role to Senior Branch Premier Banker (SAFE) after completing licensing requirements and SAFE registration

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4+ years of customer service experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • 3+ years of experience building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
  • 3+ years of experience recommending products and services
  • Experience recommending financial products and translating customer goals into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Experience proactively sourcing, acquiring, and deepening relationships through outreach and internal partnership
  • Experience managing a book-of-business, documenting planning conversations, and driving retention and growth across deposits, lending, and investments
  • Experience coaching or supporting peers
  • Financial services industry experience in consumer, home lending, business banking, or investments
  • 3+ years of experience in a licensed financial services position
  • FINRA Series 6 and 63 exams or FINRA-recognized equivalents sufficient to qualify for immediate FINRA registration
  • State Insurance license(s)
  • FINRA Series 65 or equivalent required within a specified period for Maryland and other listed states
  • SIE exam required for FINRA qualification exams earned after September 30, 2018
  • SAFE registration required at the time of employment
  • Required FINRA licenses must be obtained and maintained for continued employment
  • Enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards
  • LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background standards
  • Must be able to work a schedule including most Saturdays
  • Not eligible for Visa sponsorship
